The following is a list of the broad categories we will walk through on our way to adopting. We'll continue to update our progress here as we go. While this certainly doesn't list out all the steps, it includes the major milestones before traveling to Costa Rica to get the kids. As we get closer to being in-country, we will fill in more detail about the steps needed once we are there.

-Home study [DONE]
-Immigration applied for [DONE]
We are still in line to be traveling in the late spring or summer of 2018.
As the process carries on, we will gain further clarity on exact costs of some of the items related to adoption. With that in mind, our estimated total cost for the adoption will be $45,000.
[A note on that number: It is bigger than the number we have given in some places in the past. The reason is because we learned that we are unable to take advantage of very much of the adoption tax credit, based on our tax status related to Brian's job.]
Presently, we have raised about $14,500, equating to about 32% of our total goal as of mid-December 2017.
Thank you so much for those who have already contributed to the cause!
If you'd like to participate in our current fundraising project, our dear friend Jana Pecinovsky is selling her handmade decorative signs with all profits going to our adoption fund. You can search for her by name on facebook, or look at either Brian or Ann's profiles for more information. If you are not a facebook user, simply contact us and we can get you more information. (We have not added the totals of the sale to our grand total yet!)
You can also donate directly in three ways:
-By check (please simply contact us for our address)
-Via Paypal (when connected as "friends;" no fee if connected to your bank account. Contact me for how to find my email.)
